Our community is built through the connections we make around campus and across the city every day. As we find our way in a new normal, we want to take a moment to reconnect safely with each other on campus & in our surrounding communities.
Join us during the week of September 27th for ‘Celebrate Together’ — a series of giveaways for students, staff and Montrealers. Let’s take this week to celebrate the 200 years of connections & positive impacts that McGillians have made across Montreal, Quebec, and the world.
Plants, coffees and cookies giveaway
The Bicentennial is an occasion to reflect on our past, but also look towards our future — and sustainability is at its core. We want to plant a seed in everyone’s mind that the power to affect change is in our hands. With McGill’s Office of Sustainability, we’re giving away 6,000 potted plants grown on the Macdonald campus farm to Montrealers, McGill students and staff (first come, first served!). Make your way to one of our distribution points at the downtown and Macdonald campuses with a valid McGill ID to get a free plant (Tradescantia or Tagetes) to care for.
Coffees and cookies will be handed out at the campus distribution points each day from 8:00 am – 10:00 am.
