At the beginning of the 2016-2017 academic year, McGill’s School of Continuing Studies launched a support initiative for Syrian refugees.
Partnering with the Montreal Syrian Cultural Centre and others, the School helped to provide increased opportunities for recently-arrived immigrants and refugees, particularly through the SCS Bursaries for Refugees program. One such venture is the Karim Ghassan Ejjeh Bursary for Syrian Refugees.
