Join us for an engaging virtual panel discussion with three McGill Royal Society of Canada (RSC) Fellows and Members of the College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists, who participated in the University’s landmark Bicentennial Digital Time Capsule Project. The event takes place on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
As McGill approached its 200th anniversary, over 50 top researchers each addressed the question: What will be the biggest change or discovery in your field over the next 25 years? Their responses are featured in this one-of-a-kind legacy collection of short videos, which you can access at https://200.mcgill.ca/digital-time-capsule. During this event, panelists will once again cast their eye into the future, this time to envisage the future of research in a post-COVID world. Don’t miss this fun and forward-looking evening!
The panelists include:
- Rowan Barrett – Associate Professor in the Department of Biology and Redpath Museum and Canada Research Chair in Biodiversity Science.
- Susanne Lajoie – Professor in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology, a member of the Institute for Health Sciences Education, and Canadian Research Chair in Advanced Technologies for Learning in Authentic Settings.
- Dr. Nitika Pant Pai – Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine.
The moderator is Debra Titone, Associate Vice-Principal, Research and a Professor in the Department of Psychology, and Canada Research Chair in Language and Multilingualism.
