Since its launch in August 2020, impact200, the Bicentennial Student Sustainability challenge, saw over 40 teams of current McGill students and recent graduates produce innovative and transformative projects to enhance sustainability on our campuses, in our city, and around the world. These projects, inspired by the 17 UN Sustainability Development Goals, were designed with the aim to protect the planet and improve lives.
This November, ten finalist teams pitched their final proofs of concept to a panel of judges, who will select the top three winners and award prizes of up to $10,000.
Tune in on Thursday, December 2nd at 5:30 PM for the impact200 Award Ceremony (streaming via YouTube below), where winners will be announced and finalists’ projects will be spotlighted. Special guests from the internal and external community will also be joining us to share their thoughts for a sustainable future, and to offer their words of inspiration to the next generation of change-makers and leaders.
