Career Conversations Matter: Sustainability

November 23, 2021

10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

Take your next steps towards career goals with a sustainability purpose!  As a follow-up to the Bicentennial’s Sustainability Career Days, this session lets you experience how conversations allow us to get to know others while helping us clarify our own thoughts and generate new ones, such as how an interest in sustainability can guide your future career!  Using a structured approach, you’ll get to practice two skills employers seek in hires:

  • Oral Communication – by articulating who you are, storytelling, listening and asking good questions
  • Self Development – by learning how clarity around your strengths and self-knowledge inform career decisions, so you can speak more confidently with employers.

To get the most out of this highly interactive workshop, you should expect to have your camera on during the breakouts.

You’ll get a link to do a 5min prep activity 1-2 days before the workshop. So do the prep BEFORE you join the zoom.
