Tina Venetis

Tina became a member of the Quarter Century Club in 2019. For over 25 years, she has helped ensure the financial stability and transparency of the University. Starting as an administrative secretary at the bookstore in 1993, she now works Senior Financial Officer at Research and Innovation (the Office of the Vice-Principal). She has a deep knowledge of McGill’s systems, so much so that colleagues across the University call or email her for advice on how to approach uncertain situations when they arise. She is never too busy to give her input. Tina is also extremely funny, with a dry sense of humour that always keeps us laughing even when the subject matter is dull. She is, quite simply, one of those people who keep the University going – a true unsung hero.
