Richard Hovey

Dr. Hovey is one of the professors at the Faculty of Dentistry who does not seek the limelight, but he deserves it. Not only is he a great teacher and researcher, but first and foremost, he’s a great human being. He understands individuals and treats them as human and as a person. That makes a big difference to the wellbeing of others.

He trusts people and that gives confidence to his students who strive harder to research and study under him. If one is at all in some stress or pain, just looking at him and exchanging few words with him calms one down. Such persons, like Dr. Hovey, need to be recognized and nominated as an Unsung Hero!
