Research and Innovation
1983 - Present '

Lynda has been a part of the McGill community for more than 37 years. In her current role in Research and Innovation, we frequently receive feedback about how excellent Lynda is at her job. She works in the field of research involving human participants, ensuring research subjects have strong protections – whether they participate in something as simple as a transportation survey or as personal as a psychological study – is a necessarily complicated and demanding area of research. Lynda has long held drop-in sessions where students and researchers can come in person to ask sensitive questions and learn best practices. She also frequently gives seminars and workshops in classes to help the research community understand the process of applying and receiving permission to conduct research with people. Lynda is the consummate professional and generally a warm and gracious person.
