Laura Fabrizi

Laura Fabrizi started her career at McGill more than 34 years ago. She joined McGill in Human Resources on January 4, 1988 as Administrative Coordinator in Labour and Employee Relations. Since 1990, she has been in the role of Compensation Advisor, in the Total Compensation and has remained in the role ever since.

Laura is a consummate professional, passionate about her work and fully engaged and motivated as the first day she joined McGill. She works with integrity, meticulous in her approach to her work, attentive to the needs of the units she has been assigned to service and always ready to assist the team and take on new projects, without hesitation. Laura’s institutional knowledge and expertise make her the go-to person for her colleagues, clients and HR community at McGill.

As one of the original members of the Total Compensation team, Laura’s longstanding dedication to her team, HR and the University are without limits. She makes a difference in the professional lives of those who have the pleasure of working with her.
