Andreas Hofmann

Andreas has always been dependable, efficient, and unfailingly punctual. In fact, I have never worked with a person who gives as much attention to detail as he does. In this work as a technician for the Faculty Workshop, his willingness to take on difficult projects repeatedly impressed me over this last year.

His skills do not end with his workshop work. He also projects a warm and cheerful attitude to our students. I have seen him resolve conflicts and handle other difficult situations with remarkable patience and admirable tact. In the mechanical workshop, he goes out of his way to help any student or researcher in need. He loves people, works hard, and always tries to lift the spirits of those around him. I believe these characteristics represent all that is good in our university, and I am pleased to nominate him.
