After being nearly 20 years in the making, the consolidation of the Royal Victoria Hospital, the Montreal Children’s Hospital, some services of the Montreal General Hospital, and various other institutes into a new McGill-affiliated healthcare complex completed on June 14, 2015.
Since 1822, the founding hospitals of the MUHC have played pivotal roles in the achievement of countless medical milestones. Going into McGill’s next century, the state-of-the-art infrastructure of the McGill University Health Centre will continue to allow McGill medical residents and graduate students to better conduct world-class training and research at the vanguard of 21st century medicine.
