McGill’s first Pow Wow took place in 2001. Hosted by First Peoples’ House, the event promotes Indigenous awareness and encourages Indigenous students at McGill to connect with their roots and culture.
The day-long event takes place annually and features traditional dances, throat singing, Indigenous food, crafts and more.
